The History of EBIO Expo Belleza

EBIO was born in 2003 as a response to a need in Guadalajara: to create a high-quality event for beauty professionals.

The idea emerged in 2001, when its founder organized an anniversary event for his family's beauty brand. On that occasion, he invited local entrepreneurs with their professional brands and managed to gather 2,000 stylists. The success was so great that both attendees and entrepreneurs requested him to organize a larger event aimed at the entire beauty industry.

Thus, Expo Belleza Internacional de Occidente (EBIO) was born, whose first edition in 2003 featured 4,000 m² of exhibition space, the participation of 40 brands, and an attendance of 6,000 visitors.

Since then, EBIO has become the most important beauty event in the region, annually bringing together over 20,000 professionals and more than 1,000 brands in an exhibition area of 24,000 m². Today, it is recognized as "The Styling Festival," a celebration that elevates and honors this passionate profession.

OUR VENUE

Expo Guadalajara is the "Home of Major Events," the largest venue in Mexico

and Latin America, with 119,419 m² of construction.

It currently features 2,000 parking spaces and is designed in accordance with

international standards.
